Ireland Residence permit

Ireland Residence permit is a certificate of Residence that provides permission for students to stay in Ireland for more than 90 days. If you plan to stay less than 90 days, you need to register for a residence permit. Any Non-European union student who wants to live in Ireland for more than 90 days has to ask for immigration permission and register for residency.

Ireland residence permit and registration for residency is required if you are not from a member state of the EU., EEA, or Switzerland. The Irish Residence Permit card holds your personal information, including your name, photo, date of birth, and registration number. All International students must register for Immigration to reside in Ireland. You must book an appointment for the registration. After the appointment is fixed, you must submit the following documents.

How do I open a bank account?

To open a bank account in Ireland, Students must submit proof of name, Residence, and the acceptance letter from the University. Students might be requested to submit other documents to open a bank account. It is not possible to open a bank account in another country because you might not have Proof of Residence.

Bank Account Opening Process in Ireland

Opening a bank account takes a few days. Once you submit all the required documents, the bank verifies them, and then they go through a verification process. Once all your details are verified, the bank opens your account and sends you an SMS about the further process.

1. Bring all the following documents to the bank of Ireland.
